Have you or anybody you know been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia?
I have been going through some ongoing extreme pain for the past 3 years and have done research on Fibromyalgia and it sounds like it could be what I have. How did you become diagnosed with it? And what do you do to treat it?
You know your body: you may be right, but what you need to do is to get a referral to a good Rheumatologist. They should run blood tests to eliminate other causes of your problems, talk to you about your symptoms and history and, give you a physical exam.
Difficult to talk about treatment until you have a diagnosis, but fibromyalgia usually needs a multi-faceted approach (drugs, pacing, pain management, exercise, alternative therapies): basically, what works for you because it tends to be a very individual thing.

find a competannt doc 90-99% are incompetant when it comes to fibro
tehywill diagnose any pain as fms–or not at all.
rheumatologits are the specialist of record
but it is really a neurological disease
pain is a symtpom of many thinsg—fms is highly overdiagnosed–you need to be sure its not soemthing else–and be testes for many otehr lthings like MS, Lymes, Lupos, spinal probelm
only than can you consider fms
there really isn't much you cna do but educate yourself–
try to be otherwise healthy (food, exercise) –it doesn't help fms–buthelps your body deal with it
there are 3 approved meds cymbalta, savella are SNRIs
and Lyrica (antiseizure)–success is limited
many people that claim tobe cured never had fm to begin with
tehre is a lot more to fm than pain
